Arnold Bennett,s Razors

Two cut-throat razors in a {broken} box, inscribed on a silver plate on the lid 'E.A.B. From J.L.C.T. Sept 28th 1900'.

Previously owned by the great grandson of Captain George Prior, of Brightlingsea, Essex, the Captain of Bennett's private yachts. Given to Captain Prior by Arnold Bennett.

Purchased by The Potteries Museum & Art Gallery in 2006, with financial assistance from The Friends of the Potteries Museums & Art Gallery, The Arnold Bennett Society and The Museum Purchase Fund
