Earthenware bowl. Decorated with over glaze painted iridescent reduced lustre. The interior is painted with tree and foliage merging into the gold lustre. The exterior has the resist inscription: 'HE THAT IS SLOW TO ANGER IS BETTER THAN THE MIGHTY AND HE THAT RULETH HIS SPIRIT THAN HE THAT TAKETH A CITY'. Designed by Gordon Forsyth, made by Moira Forsyth.
