Learning at Etruria Industrial Museum

Situated at the junction of the Caldon and Trent & Mersey canals, this is a great place to learn about canals. It's also the last steam-powered potters' mill in Britain. Enjoy watching your children gaze in awe at our larger-than-life machinery. Book a hands-on science, design technology, history or art workshop to support your curriculum needs. On selected days of the year Experience a Working Steam Engine when the boiler is lit and our steam engine, Princess, comes to life. The museum also has a 1940s canal check office, the perfect base for our new World War 2 workshop.
