Beauty and the Beast (open air theatre)

The magic of theatre is coming to Ford Green Hall with an open air production of Beauty and the Beast on Thursday 19 August.
Relax in the picturesque grounds of the seventeenth century hall and watch Laura Turner’s interpretation of this classic fairytale. Louisa and Milky-White the cow will entertain children of all ages as they transform their 1940s garden into a magical setting. Beauty meets new friends and be prepared for the fearsome beast and his castle in this heart-warming tale of fun and friendship.
Bring a picnic to enjoy as Chapterhouse Theatre transform the historic site for this special performance. Visitors can attend in fancy dress and take part in the fairytale parade during the interval. The play stars Georgina Sherrington, who played the accident prone heroine Mildred Hubble in the children's television series, 'The Worst Witch', and she has recently returned to the UK after working in Los Angeles.
Ticketholders are welcome to arrive from 6pm and are encouraged to bring a rug or low backed seating to watch the performance which begins at 7pm.
Tickets are £12 for adults, £8 for children and students and a family ticket (2 adults and 2 children) costs £35. There is a 10% discount available for parties of 10 or more people booking together.
Ticcets will be also available on the door.

Anyone who had tickets to the performance of A Midsummer Night’s Dream at Ford Green Hall on Sunday 13 June which was cancelled due to weather conditions can exchange their tickets for this performace.
