Make Your Mark

The Potteries Museum & Art Gallery are inviting community groups, charities and youth groups across Stoke-on-Trent to work together and create a large-scale piece of artwork using various techniques of printmaking.

The theme will revolve around the idea of life in Stoke-on-Trent. Participants will be asked to create their individual print on what they like best about living in the ‘Potteries’.

This collaborative community piece will then be exhibited at the Potteries Museum & Art Gallery alongside a forthcoming Artists and Printmakers Exhibition in January 2012.

If your group would like to get involved, contact Ivy Wong, Museums and Archives Outreach Officer on 01782 232277 (Mon-Thurs 9.30am - 2.30pm) or email: Ivy.Wong@stoke.gov.uk

NB: No previous artistic skills are needed as our outreach staff will provide hands-on help throughout the workshops at your setting. Workshops could be tailored towards the ability and requirements of your group.
