The Friends organise a lively programme of meetings throughout the year. These include lectures, films, social events & visits to museums, galleries & private collections. Recent visits include Rode Hall,Burleigh Pottery, Titanic Brewery and Biddulph Old Hall. See our Events page for information on forthcoming visits and events.
Discounts are available in the Museum shops and cafes and for certain events. There are also discounts available to Friends in the shops and cafes of the Birmingham Museums and Art Gallery (see Friends' Membership page for full details).
As a Friend, you will also receive invitations to functions, openings and private views at The Potteries Museum & Art Gallery.
There are more than 500 Friends, mainly from the locality but also from further afield nationally and internationally. Many have been Friends for many years but we also have lots of new members, who have joined us since the Staffordshire Hoard exhibition of Anglo-Saxon treasures.
