A free history walk of Longton is to take place highlighting the town’s architectural and industrial heritage.

Organised by Gladstone Pottery Museum and led by museum volunteer Phil Rowley, the walks is the latest in a series which have been held frequently over the past few years and remain extremely popular.

The next walk will leave the Gladstone Shop at 2pm on Sunday October 17 and take around an hour and a half. An umbrella and comfortable footwear are recommended.

Although the walk is free, places must be booked by calling the museum on 01782 237777 between 10am and 5pm.
