Learning at Stoke-on-Trent Museums

One City, 4 Museums.

Stoke-on-Trent Museums provide a range of education services to help children learn inside and outside of school. At our museums we offer some of the best local opportunities for learning beyond the classroom. Our tours, workshops and resources have been carefully developed to inspire, involve and motivate. We believe that a school visit can provide children of all ages and learning styles with memorable experiences which will enhance their learning of knowledge and skills in the long term.

Check our brochure for the full list of services

“Very enjoyable workshop, well organised. Children enjoyed
interacting with exhibits. A super visit in a safe environment.”

Crescent Primary School January 2010

Unable to take children out of school? Outreach workshops bring our service to your classroom. We have a number of sessions which can be delivered at your school. In our newest session Florence Nightingale pays a visit to tell children about her life and answer questions. We also have a range of loans boxes which you can borrow to use in the school. See the brochure for the full list and details of how to book.

We run special events throughout the school year to provide new and stimulating activities often linked to National Celebrations and initiatives. Click here to see our current special events.
