Schools Loans Box Service

Enrich your teaching of a topic by borrowing one of our themed loans boxes. Your pupils will be able to handle unusual objects and historical artefacts in the classroom

Ancient Egyptians, Life in Ancient Egypt, Romans, Anglo-Saxons, Tudors, Victorian Home,
World War 2, Evacuees, World War 1, Medieval Realms

Science Boxes:
Birds Biodiversity, Teeth and Eating, Patterns in Nature, Mammal Adaptations, Woodland Habitat, Butterflies and Moths, Large Insects, Seashore, Freshwater Life, Fossils, Rocks, Minerals, Bridges

Cross Curricular Boxes:
Talking Textiles, Minotaur, Toilet Times, Portraits, Printing, Disney Topic.

What’s in the box? Each box contains a number of real or replica objects related to the topic. See the list for details.

Loans boxes cost £15.00 to borrow and are loaned by the half term. If you want to collect your box please contact us to arrange a time. If you visit the Museum without arranging a time then your box may not be available.
