The Potteries Museum and Art Gallery plans
to jointly acquire the Staffordshire Hoard with
Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery to ensure
it stays in the West Midlands.
The unparallelled treasure comprises more than
1,600 items of superbly crafted warrior gear in
gold and silver.
The exhibition is free. However, donations towards
the acquisition of The Staffordshire Hoard are
gratefully accepted. Your generous donation will
help support acquisition, research, display and
interpretation of The Staffordshire Hoard.
