The Foyer shop

The Potteries Museum & Art Gallery is home to the Foyer Shop. It sells an eclectic range of gifts, to enable the visitor to take home a unique memento of their visit.

The Foyer Shop sells merchandise that you would not find on the high street. It has cultivated a loyal customer base. Comments from customers -

Product Ranges

1.   Unusual greetings cards. Design led and many hand finished.

2.   Postcards of the local area and the collections. Send your mail from Stoke on Trent’s oldest post-box – 1860. Collected daily Mon-Fri 3.30pm

3.   Art cards and prints of local industrial scenes by local artist Michael Pritchard.

4.   Wartime and Spitfire memorabilia.

5.   Extensive range of books on the local area and the ceramics industry.

6.   Gifts, novelties and souvenirs for our youngest visitors. All are educational, informative and fun.

7.   Official Staffordshire Hoard merchandise. Postcards, stationary, fridge magnets, childrens replica gifts. We also stock official publications. The National Geographic book ‘Lost Gold of the Dark Ages’ is now in stock and priced at £19.99.

8.   Craft Gallery – contemporary ceramics and jewellery, by local artisans and craftsmen. For Christmas we are stocking a collection of ceramics by Denise O’Sullivan. Denise's background of hand made and industrial ceramic processes and design, allows her collection to bring energy to any household, using print, hand decorating and glaze application. Her designs are inspired from her love of kitsch, fashion, Englishness and vintage styles, combine with traditional English ceramic forms.
