Temporary Changes to Access

From Monday 2 March 2020 work will be starting on our exciting new Spitfire Gallery. During the build we will be using this page to list any temporary effects the work might have on access to our building or services. Check back before your visit for the latest information or follow our museum blog for updates.

Parking

During the works we recommend blue badge holders use spaces in Albion Street (ST1 1QF), where there is a disabled bay and on-street bays which are free to badge holders. There are also bays in Bethesda Street (ST1 3BP).

Entering the Museum

The main museum entrance will remain open as normal. However, visitors will be unable to access the building via the side doors to the café.

Café

Our café will remain open and can be accessed via the main museum front doors. However, visitors will be unable to access the café through the side doors.
